Follow these four easy steps to begin Banking with The Bank of Fincastle:
1. Open your Bank of Fincastle checking account at any of our convenient locations.
Our customer service representatives will guide you in selecting the best account for your financial needs.
2. Complete this handy Electronic Transaction Checklist.
Use our simple Transaction Checklist to identify all of your direct deposits and automatic payments.
3. Then, change your online and recurring deposits and payments.
Use your completed Transaction Checklist to ensure all of your recurring items are moved to your new Bank of Fincastle account. Be sure to remember any automatic payments made from your debit card. As an added convenience, we have also included a Direct Deposit Automatic Payment Enrollment Form for any applicable accounts that do not allow online or phone changes.
4. Close your former account.
Use this Reconciliation Form to balance your account. After all of your checks have cleared and your direct deposit and automatic payments begin to post to your new Bank of Fincastle account, complete and send the Request to Close Account Form form to your previous bank. We will be happy to assist you with completing and sending this form. Some institutions may require additional information.
